Question about Legacy master surname list.
I inadvertently checked the box "Always save the change without asking" on the Master surname list. How do I get it back?
We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
Kim Overholt Hopefully this will help. Click on "Options" then "Customize" and then click on the 2. Data Entry. Under option 2.1 "When Adding and Editing Information", make sure the box is checked for "Verify NEW names, locations, and events".
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately that didn't work. sigh I poked around in Customize before I posted and didn't see anything that would reset it there but was hoping I missed something.

ReplyDeleteWhen I make a big boo-boo, I restore my last backup. This usually works because I back up my database every time I close it and about every ten minutes while I'm in it.
