So happy to find this group. I've been working on my genealogy for about 5 years, love Legacy Family Tree Software and want to use it to the max! Hoping to learn from you and contribute when I can.
I got hooked on genealogy when visiting the Swedish museum in Minneapolis. I felt like - these are my people and I know nothing about them. Made me feel a little lost. What a journey I started!
Welcome to the group Donna Nissen . Researching your family is a wonderful journey to be on. I've been "hooked" for 18 years and it's been great. Legacy Family Tree software has helped me in that journey. This is an awesome community with a lot of members to learn from.
ReplyDeleteThe Swedish-American Museum is wonderful Donna Nissen and if you get a chance to return to Minnesota then definitely try to go to their genealogy & historical society library (they have a Swedish and Norwegian volunteer day each month). I got so much help with translations and little tips to help with my research. There are some great genealogy groups on both Google+ and Facebook for Swedish research - be sure to check them out.
