HELP! My Legacy family file will not open.

HELP!  My Family file would not open - Tried shutting down & restarting, and what help said - then a menu came up and said I had to CONVERT my files  w/ 3 suggestions - I chose convert & reopen.  My file did open BUT there is a ton  of info missing.  Now what do I need to do??

    If you have a back up I would make a copy of it and then try to open that file.  If you are still having issues I would uninstall and then reinstall Legacy (I have had to do this a few times).  After the reinstall if you are still having problems contact Legacy support.   Good luck!

    Yikes - I hope Shannon's suggestions work. And that is why we do those backups - because no matter how careful we are, glitches and gremlins have a way of messing with us and our computers. Let us know how this works out Mabel Slinkard Horrocks (I will keep my fingers crossed for you).

    I took the easy way -I have carbonite - so I contacted them and they put me back in business.Thank heavens (But I sure was scared)   If concerned about safety of your files - I highly recommend Carbonite.

    That's great Mabel Slinkard Horrocks.  So glad you didn't have to start from scratch.  Phew!  What a relief eh?
