I've run out of memory - what gives?
"My legacy people," states ran out of memory. I was trying to find connections with Family Search, when this happened. Trying something new in the Legacy tabs. What did I do wrong?
We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
Not sure what you mean June Butka but if you are having an issue with Legacy program and your computer's memory, you might want to contact Millennia folks to see if they can solve it for you.
ReplyDeleteTessa Keough I closed the program. It happened when I attempted to find matches on the Family Search site. Now I have 1900+ people. Names I don't even know. I will call them on Monday. thank you for getting back to me. You gave some great tips at your Webinar. I was playing with the tabs when I obviously didn't make the correct choice.
ReplyDeleteJune could you possible post a screen shot of what you are seeing. It would help those of us who do Legacy and FamilySearch know more what you are experiencing.
ReplyDeleteMarla Larson I closed out of the program. I didn't even think to take a screen shot. I will remember for next time. Hopefully there will not be a next time.
ReplyDeleteLegacy has not been playing nice with Family Search for a little while now. I don't bother connecting my people through Legacy anymore. Either I get errors or useless data in my database. Good luck June Butka!
ReplyDeletehmm I wonder what is up with that - whether that is a change on FamilySearch's side or Legacy's side. It would be good to know because some people do connect them. I wish these companies would put a note on their site if there are issues so we would know. (ah perfect world).
