Imported tree from FamilyTreeMaker - master source list is a mess.

I imported my tree from Family tree maker and it has my master source list all messed up is there a why to delete all the master sources and reenter them using the master source writer

  1. You can delete your sources manually one by one.  I had a mess when I imported from Family Tree Maker as well.  I ended up going source by source and entering the correct source and then deleting the old ones.  It was a lot of work but very worth it.  Good luck!

  2. Years ago, I messed up my sources by a fat finger delete.  I realized it weeks later.  I had the data base on another computer, they were not synced.  It became a bit of a long fix, but, it was a great opportunity to fix the sources.  In the long run, well worth it.

  3. You might want to try to re-import and select the option to not include sources.   This would save the step of deleting all the one by one activity.
