Question on font sizes in Legacy.

Hi All,

Legacy 8 Version: 8.0.0.459

I was having a bit of a problem with the font size on Legacy I have changed the minimum font size on Customize Legacy options.
This works fine except it does not change the font size on the FamilySearch shared data screen which is what was causing me problems in the first place.

Any suggestions?

Keith

  1. Hello Keith
The FamilySearch Window is a seperate program to Legacy. It was made by FamilySearch.org with the assistance with Legacy. I do not know of any custonization, which includes Font type or size, in this program. If you are having trouble with it, I suggest you contact FamilySearch.Org.

  2. Thanks Gary, That is interesting. I have a more serious problem with that page and I contacted Familysearch about it and they didn't admit to any responsibility for it.THey implied the problem was with Legacy.

  3. Your browser should have a zoom function in the settings. So find the settings for the browser that is using Family Search from Legacy.  Chrome has them up on right side 3 horizontal lines but if you do not use Chrome I have no idea where they are.

  4. Carlene I think Keith is having trouble with a program that is imbedded into Legacy "Search FamilySearch", Which you can find under the Search Tab, not the actual FamilySearch.org web site.

Keith what is your the problem with the Fonts?

  5. Thank You Garry!  My mistake, then I think it may be Legacy Family Search 8 program that is preventing (not even any settings) for any font size change and that appears to be the Legacy program and not Family Search unless they set the requirements for Legacy Family Tree 8.  Nothing in help either.

  7. Keith sadly I do not see any way to increase the font size.
If FamilySearch are unable to help try sending an E-mail to Legacy Support   Support@LegacyFamilyTree.com    I am sorry but this is the best I can do. I have searched for a fix and came up with nothing
    Good Luck
