I am participating in the genealogy do-over.

I am participating in Thomas MacEntee's Genealogy Do-Over and have stumbled on a free program called Genscriber to help you with transcribing documents.

I would like to use the software but I also like to put the document's transcription into Legacy's note section for the associated event.

Does anyone have experience transcribing using Genscriber and then exporting the transcription into Legacy?

    Hi Debi:
    If you are using Windows, you should be able to "CTL A" (Control A) then Control C, then Control V to paste it into your notes. Iuse it all the time to copy material into Notes in Legacy.

    I use Transcript, free, copy/paste from there to Legacy note fields.  have used this for years.  LOVE!!
