Problems using split screen - help.
Somehow my Legacy menu, after using split screen, has positioned itself too far to the right and I cannot access the scroll bar or anything on the extreme right side.

Pick it up by the top edge (somewhere in the top 1/4" or so) and re-position it. It should just snap into place

ReplyDeleteIt didn't work. Snapped back to where it was. I also did a ck & repair to no avail.

ReplyDeleteSorry. I'm using v.7 so maybe that's the reason. Mine doesn't actually 'snap' into place but can be dragged to fit next to the other one. Maybe try making the other window less wide by a little bit and see if that gives the other one enough room to fit.
Select the program by selecting it with the left mouse button. Hold down the Windows Key (Bottom row of the keyboard between CRT and ALT) then press the Left Arrow key (once again on the bottom row but on the right sde of the keyboard under the delete, End and Page Down keys) this should force it to snap to the left side of the screen. Let me know if this fixes your problem
ReplyDeleteTook some experimenting - but think it is where it should be now. TNX so very much .
ReplyDeleteMy half screen was always only 3/4 the way down my screen but using this trick worked for it as well and now I have a complete half screen - Thanks so much
