Can I search for specific words within Events/Facts?
A number of ancestors had farms and Farm Schedules. I've transcribed the censuses and have included Farm Schedule # in the Events/Facts.
I would prefer not to have to review each ancestor entered so far in order to tag and make a list.
I'll presume you have those words in the event notes. In which case you can do a detailed search on Individual, where to look = Event Notes, how to look = Contains and what to look for = your key word or words. Should give you list of everyone who has those keywords in any and all event notes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ed. I just tried it and got what I was looking for. Glad I watched Geoff's video where he recommends transcribing censuses and putting the transcription in both the source AND the event notes. :-)
