We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
I think the problem is that you are using the search in "More Detail" mode. From this screen you are essentially asking Legacy to meet all of those conditions (e.g., surname contains Fe, Given name = "blank", born = "no date" in Canada, dead = "no date" in "blank", etc.). From the screen you show click on the Less Detail button and it should work for you.
Likely the problem is that you have no birth locations that are only "Canada." Try clicking the "In" button on the born location. That will broaden the search to include all locations that include "Canada" as part of the field.
