Questions on entering data.
Hello. I've been using Legacy for some time, but haven't always been very good about entering data and sources. In some cases, it was because I didn't know what I was doing so it seemed a bit overwhelming. I had heard of this group, but am just now finally watching the videos and I have learned so much! Thanks to all of you who share all this information. I also appreciate that everyone plays nice, even though you don't all do things the same way. The lack of drama and the willingness to be open to other people's ideas makes this a terrific community!
Yes, Tessa Keough has did a fabulous job on creating many Legacy videos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us Karen Richard (and for the kind words Monique Riley) but thankfully everyone here does their part - we get some great questions, helpful answers (many ways of doing something) and terrific members who all help out and show us how to do things - Monique Riley knows so much about the program and Shannon Thomas is our resident Evernote and organizational guru. Carol Stevens keeps us all honest (and removes spam with her eagle eye) and Linda McCauley provides lots of help with how to use Legacy features (her discussions of tagging and events/facts are the best). It is a team effort and I know I have forgotten some - but we are all here to help and learn!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen Richard! Glad to have you join us. If you have a question about how to do something or just want to know how everyone else does it let us know and someone will help you out. This is a great group and I have learned a lot but I also love the part where I get to help others by sharing what and how I do things.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you here Karen Richard . And, thanks for all the kind things you said. It is nice to help each other and no drama. I do like that a lot! I too am still learning. We have great members, who share so well.
ReplyDeleteHappy researching!
Tessa, I agree that while you do a terrific job, others really do their part as well and have a lot to do with making this a welcoming and informative environment. It takes a team and you folks are great about sharing the credit as well as knowledge. :-)
ReplyDeleteShannon, I also enjoy helping others and it's actually been a great way to learn.
Karen Richard The link to my blog post was posted in Data Entry. I hope it helps!
