How to cite a military biography?
I have a this "military bio" from rootsweb:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txnavarr/war/world_war_ii/men_and_women_in_wwii/p105_106.htm#GREEN, RUFUS S.

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txnavarr/war/world_war_ii/men_and_women_in_wwii/p105_106.htm#GREEN, RUFUS S.
How would I source this? I'm trying to find the right category in Legacy's SourceWriter but I'm not sure what this type of page would fall under.
thanks,
james

It looks to me like it is an authored book that is found online, so in the Source Writer I would choose: >book >authored by two authors > online.
ReplyDeleteI googled the name of the title and found this info about it that will help you craft a citation-- World War II Index Navarro County, Texas, http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txnavarr/war/world_war_ii/index.htm , Navarro County TXGenWeb, Copyright 2001 Edward L. Williams & Barbara Knox .
That's what I would do, maybe others have different opinions. Be sure to put the page number and the date accessed in your citation.
