Alternative events and facts?
Does anyone know if Legacy has the ability to advise you of alternative births, deaths, etc.?
We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
you can add alternate births, deaths, etc. as an event - then if you disprove them you add comments or remove them from your event list.

Thanks for responding. I know for alternate names there is a icon that changes colors if there are alternate names. Do you know if we have any settings to allow the same thing for alternate births, deaths, marriages, etc.?
ReplyDeletethere isn't an icon like the alternate names - you just need to add them as an event - alt birth, etc are options there.
ReplyDeleteI don't delete my Alt. Birth events. I just create an event called Disproven Birth and then use it to explain why I believe that date/event was disproven. This is an in-your-face reminder that doesn't get lost in my notes.
