For those of you with Swedish ancestors, ArkivDigital is celebrating National Archives Day by opening up their online database for free on November 8 & 9. So what are you waiting for - do a quick search in Legacy for your Swedish ancestors and start looking them in up in the records (remember how I told you about those fascinating Household Examination Records - ah it was the video on my lack of source citations!). ArkivDigital's color images of the HER and other records are gorgeous. Heck if you don't have Swedish ancestors, look up some of mine or just go and play around to see how it is done. Njuta (enjoy).
