Is Legacy available for my android?
Can anyone tell me if I can get Legacy app for my android mobile?
We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
Les Tobin TelGen's Families app is the one for Legacy. They have a Mac version as well as an Android one. It is available in Google Playstore. I've been using it for about 12 months. Although it is designed to sync both ways(to and from the PC,)I don't enter data in the field to use the sync facility back to the PC. I use it as the info to take with me when researching.
ReplyDeleteMe too and it's fabulous
ReplyDeleteI agree with both Judy Lofthouse and Helen Connor . There is a free webinar about the Families app over at www.familytreewebinars.com that I think you will find helpful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that valuable information. I think that this app may be very useful to me for tracking as I process my Clooz documents and then export them to my Legacy files.
ReplyDeleteI carry mine around on my KOBO, including when I went to research facilities in England and I love it. It is very easy to sync and update before you go somewhere. I think the app cost about $15.00.
ReplyDeleteJudy Lofthouse Thank you all verymuch
ReplyDeleteCan you use a Kindle with Legacy?
ReplyDeleteThank you all for being so helpful.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Les
Kathleen Starr My KOBO is an e reader, so I'm guessing, yes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy Goddard. I will look into it. I have the Telgen app on my iPod touch. I think there is a free android viewer that lets you view a gedcom file from Legacy.
