Moving files between drives - help.

Again Good Morning.
What I neglected to mention in my last message is that I am about the most technically inept person around these parts.  It seems that I moved the first file from my D drive correctly.  I then moved the other files from the D drive back  to the D drive.  I now have everything in Legacy and what I am going to ask for for Christmas is regular access to a fifteen year old..

    I love it. But get the 15 year old to pass on some tech skills.

    ah good - Elizabeth O'Donnell you are set for genealogy and life if you have a sense of humor! Sometimes we think we are following the instructions and it can just be a little glitch of not checking the drive  or the folder when we save something (I think we have all done it!). 

    Just be sure that 15 year old knows a little bit about technology - I am noticing quite a few who can do a few simple tech things but know much more about consuming on the mobile, tablets and laptops.
