Making the switch from TMG to Legacy - new here.

Hi Guys,

I'm in Australia and have been researching for nearly fifteen years. I started using Personal Ancestral File (friendly), then went to The Master Genealogist (powerful) and ended up with Legacy - powerful yet friendly.

I stumbled onto Tessa's video's and this group via Youtube

    Carol, thank you and Paul, I'm sorry but my change was around nine years ago - 12 June 2005 as I still have the TMG files and that's the last date they were changed.

    I don't recall it being especially painful and it didn't involve me retyping sources etc so I managed to import them in some fashion. I'm sorry I haven't got more for you but I've had a few sleeps since then. I'll keep thinking about it and if I remember anything I'll message you back.

    Welcome Graham Black happy to have you join us here.  It is always a bit painful to switch programs but I think you will agree you made a good choice with Legacy.
