How do I copy a source detail that I already input previously?

For example, several weeks ago I input some information I obtained on my grandfather and forgot to add an event into his father's file because it was new information.   I don't want to re-input all the source detail information and I'm figuring there must be a way I can pull up this previously used source detail information I forgot to enter.

  1. On the source screen, click on the one that you want to copy.  Towards the bottom left side of the screen, you will see 5 little boxes - an up black arrow, a down black arrow, an up blue arrow a blue dash and the bottom one is the clipboard.  Click on the clipboard one to copy the source to the clipboard. It will ask  you if you want to overwrite what is there - say yes.  The overwrite is only for the clipboard.  Then click on the blue up arrow to open the clipboard.  Make your edits that you want to make for the new person.  On the person that you want to paste the even to, go to the line that you want to paste it to (i.e,., death or census), and click the blue dash - that is the paste.  Depending on how you have yours setup, it may or may not bring it up before pasting.  If it does, you can hit save & it will be there.  If it doesn't, it will save once you hit the blue dash.
