New to LVUG community.

My family is Southern Italian. I have been doing it since 1997.

Legacy has suddenly shown Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 to be THE SAME NAME.

Legacy has suddenly shown Spouse 1 and Spouse 2 to be THE SAME NAME. This is seen for ALL marriages in my entire database. LIterally thousands of names are involved. Please don't tell me I have to remove them one by one. It tells me I will LOSE all data for that spouse. Would like to keep one spouse just delete the other name however, BOTH names show all data on children, birth, marriage, death, Notes, etc. Would like to know how this happened as all I do is enter data and occasionally a new name but main focus is getting rid of the duplicate names. Appreciate guidance.

How to show same man who married daughters in two of my lines.

I have just discovered that the same man married daughters in two of my lines. I have sources entered for him in both places. Is there a way to merge the "two" men? Or, do I need to delete one and add the sources, etc. to one of the entries? I'm a little confused. Thanks very much! Judy

Editing details of a source and applying to all the places.

In the past, I know that I have been able to edit the details of a source and have them apply to all the places where I entered that source. I entered one yesterday in probably 15 places and now need to make a correction. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!

Legacy Home tab>Legacy News Why would the new display without a problem on one computer but all I get on the other computer is "Make sure you are connected to the internet and then click here to retrieve the latest news items." Both computer running the same version of Legacy, both on same router. The Legacy FamilySearch works fine as do all the browsers like Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge, etc. The "Options" button on the Legacy Home tab has an "Options" selection. Under that on the Internet Options tab, the radio button labelled "Allow Legacy to connect to the internet..." is set. Also under Options, clicking on "Check internet now..." does nothing. Is there something that can be done to clear this condition so that my second computer will function like the first one? Help please if you have a solution.
