Does anyone know the release date for Legacy 9?
Does anyone know the release date for Legacy 9.0? I bought the book. I am waiting for the new program.

We started out as a Google+ Community - it is closing down so we have migrated here to Blogger. This will be the place for 6+ years worth of posts and comments (an archive of sorts) as well as the place to dish up current questions, comments, and tips about our genealogy software of choice, Legacy Family Tree.
They won't give an actual date. It is in beta testing. If they said January and then ran into problems that delayed it, everyone would be upset that they did not release it when they said they would.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! I bought the book thinking that it would not have been published if the new program wasn't going to be released soon. That's okay. Like everyone else, I don't have a lot of reading time at the moment anyway.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is so important to get the beta testing right and work through issues - as is often the case, a change or add to one item affects other items. The Legacy Family Tree Software team is great at making sure they do it right - and I am sure we will all find out at some future webinar. Until then, we keep working on our family history. And with the holidays - I think we all have enough to keep us busy!
