This is what I get when I search for MRINs (User IDs) between 5000 and 5999. There's only one (5562) that is an accurate result, but if I change the number it swaps with another one. And if I change that one it swaps back again and so on in an endless loop. Obviously, everything else is irrelevant to my query.

Is it just me, or would someone else like to try a similar search?

  1. sorry I don't have MRINs in the 5000 range - only up to 2700 and they are all in order. Anyone else can test this? We could always ask the question in the Facebook group as Michelle from Legacy Support runs that group. Thoughts?

  2. Tessa Keough It's not that specific range of numbers. It's any range bringing up junk results.

  3. I went through my entire marriage list - all in order no junk. Wonder what is causing it with you. Did you do a file maintenance?

  4. Tessa Keough I think I've been working with a corrupted file for about two years. As I recall, since there's no specific error number Support doesn't know what to do.

I'm getting at least some relief by changing the numbers. I don't know if they're 'bad' numbers but I guess I'll find out if I try to re-use them.

  5. What I've now noticed about this result is that Legacy has a problem with MRINs for multiple marriages being too far apart. When I change the numbering the problem goes away.

For instance, 24188/1450 still shows up in a search for 5000-5999. The other numbers don't anymore because I've changed them.
